Aquarium reduces stress not cause stress

Keeping an aquarium in a home has shown to reduce blood pressure level and relax people. Studies have been done on the elderly, all the way down to children. Results showed that having some type of aquarium in a home is beneficial to everyone living there.

Working in this field, We have noticed that some of our clients have said that it has alleviated anxiety, helped relax the mind and some have even said it has cured their insomnia. Owning an aquarium is a quick stress management activity that you can do at home or in the office.

There is people that have aquariums and use it as a stress management tool ( Dentist ) and others just because they love the hobby. We have seen many customers through out the years that had the opposite effect. It caused stress for them from the aquarium leaking to fish and coral dying everywhere.

Reason that might set you up for failure:

  • Not doing research on the hobby.
  • Not having the correct or properly size equipment.
  • Patience is a necessity in this hobby.
  • Too many cooks in the kitchen, hearing 10 different answers to the same question.
  • Plan it, Budget it, and Design it.
  • Professionals :Find a Local fish store you feel comfortable with and ask a million questions.
  • Learn how to buy livestock.
  • Water Test, Water Test, Water Test.

HAPPY REEFING !!!!
